How to take your measurements?

Taking the right measurements is essential to ensure your press-on nails fit perfectly on your nail and give you a stylish look.

Here are two simple methods to help you determine the ideal size for your nails.

Method 1 : Measure with a Tape

1. Prepare your tools: You will need tape, a ruler or ribbon, and a pen.

2. Apply the tape: Stick a piece of tape to the nail you want to measure, making sure to cover the entire nail, from the left side to the right side, paying particular attention to the edges.

3. Mark the width: Draw a line on each side of the nail at its widest point, then remove the tape, taking care not to erase the lines. Stick the tape on a piece of paper so you can measure it.

4. Measure: Using a ruler, measure the distance between your two lines to get the exact width of your nail. Mark the number of millimeters found next to the corresponding finger.

5. Repeat: Repeat this process for each nail to ensure you have the correct dimensions for each one.

CAUTION: This process should be done on all 10 fingers because sometimes the same finger (thumb-thumb; middle finger-middle finger; etc.) is not the same width on both hands.

In step 2, you can directly apply a malleable tape such as sewing tape or IKEA tape. You will need to make sure to place the tape measure on the left corner of the nail at the 0 mark and mark the number of millimeters. For this method, you will also need to measure all fingers.

Method 2 : Order a Sizing Kit

For maximum accuracy, you can also order a sizing kit in the desired shape and length. Here's how to do it:

1. Choose Shape and Length: Determine the shape (e.g., square, almond, stiletto) and length (short, medium, long) that match your style.

2. Receive the kit: Once you have placed your order, you will receive a kit including press on nails, in all available sizes, corresponding to the shape and length chosen.

3. Try on sizes: Place each false nail on your natural nail (without tips, gel, semi-permanent, etc.) to find the size that fits each of your nails perfectly. If you are hesitating between two sizes, it is best to take the size above and then lightly file the sides afterwards.

Do not apply pressure to the false nail when trying it on. The false nail should fit naturally and easily onto the nail. The false nail should cover the edges without pressure.

4. Record your measurements: Once you have found the ideal size for each nail, write these measurements directly on the Sizing Kit cardboard for your future orders.

PLEASE NOTE: A size 6 on a long almond shape does not correspond to a size 6 on a short bob or a medium almond. Each shape + length has its own dimensions. If you wish to reorder a different shape or even the same shape but a different length, you will need to order a new Sizing Kit in that desired shape and length. Or, take the measurements yourself using Method 1.

Taking the right measurements is essential for getting perfectly fitting press-on nails. Whether you choose to measure with a tape or order a Sizing Kit , these methods will ensure a professional result and an amazing result.
